"Reynoldsburg has fallen victim to urban sprawl in the last few years. My son was ecstatic that I changed jobs and relocated between his Sophomore and Junior years. While the school preached social integration, the only things that were truly integrated were my money with the subsidized lunch, clothing, and supply programs that I was funding for the 'disadvantaged'. The school had problems with security, so parents paid more guards more money to pay attention. When that didn't work they changed the dress code to students having to wear 'purple' or 'gold' t-shirts so the guards could identify who really belonged there. Guess who paid for the new attire for those who claimed they could not afford it? Subsidized programs are fine when they are monitored, but while I was paying, my neighbors were receiving because they knew someone on the 'inside'. Now levys won't pass. I can't imagine why..."

"My son is a freshman at the high school and we have been in the district since he was in 6th grade. I moved to Reynoldsburg to get him out of Columbus Public before he started middle school and was pleased with the school district at that time. Now after the failure of the school levy (several times) I am totally disgusted with this district. I'm on this website looking into other schools because as far as I'm concerned we can't move out of Reynoldsburg fast enough. All of the cuts that are being made are going to take away our childrens competitive edge when comes to college recruiting, and this is for everything from academics to athletics. Removing AP classes and forigen languages and having $500.00 pay to play fees ...this district is a joke!!!"

"It's all about kids achieving excellence and meeting their goals. The Reynoldsburg High School staff, administration, support staff, and community all work very hard together to make this happen. We pride ourselves on excellence. I believe these kids have done a great job accepting the changes and cuts made as a result of this economic depression. They stand tall and proud."

"This school has a dress code for no reason, no choices or options in education or appearance. But, they have great teachers and staff"

"I believe that RHS is a good school. And I believe that the Trailblazers program is a good program and the last help for students. However, thier administration is something to be desired. I have heard complaints that thier administration and know for myself are just a buch of 'speakers'. They do not and I say do not follow through on what they promised to the parent or the students!"
