"Consistency in grading could be worked on for teachers not in AP curricular classes. Maybe find guidance in the program to at least keep a consistent accuracy to inputting grades."

"My favorite experiences are being able to work on my homework and other classwork after school during tutoring. It is required for a teacher to stay after school and assist struggling a students as well as have a friendly approach and obligation to help."

"I love the people here. I love the students. I am gifted to go to such a diverse school. Having people of different backgrounds and cultures in exciting and fun in any situation. As a person of color, I greatly appreciate my upbringing in this area and environment. I do not fear any one, and the media always paints us as people of color as criminals and terrorists, but everyone here does not see my people as such. I do not ever feel attacked, I feel united with my class as a whole and this connection makes us all strong."

"There was a week in school we have that's called Respect Week, which is supposed to bring the whole school together, and I vividly remember my freshman year Respect Week. Freshman year was a very bad year for me personally, so being bale to experience the immense positivity of that week was able to push me to become a more positive person that year. I would choose my school again because I feel it has played a large part in shaping me and being able to make 'hood' jokes never gets old, and it's nice that everyone can sort of relate to each other because of this community we all share, so no, I would never switch to another high school."

"The teachers here are too busy for their students, and they rarely make time for students needs. They are inflexible, and especially in the case of AP classes, the teachers do not wait up for questions or have time to go back on a confusing topic. The teachers are often unapproachable and pissy, they complain about students not taking things seriously when the teachers themselves talk bad about their students right in front of the students. How are we supposed to excel when you already made up our minds of failure for us? There are some good teachers here, but in all my years here I've only liked 2 teachers that honestly and genuinely care about their students."
