    "Talk about a school that works hard to support its students to achieve - this is what SCRL does every day of the week. There are AP classes, 7 sports teams, lots of wireless, collaborations with Good Shepherd Youth and Family Services, Lehman College of CUNY, BronxNet, Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, Bronx Community Health Network and more. The teachers, school counselors, administrators and staff are committed and work as teams to support and monitor student achievement. SCRL is proud of its 7 years and looks forward to many more. A proud parent"

    "As an Alumnus of this school currently attending Cornell University I have a to say that this school is great with working with the students and helping them to realize their full potential. SCRL does many innovative things and in doing so really make the school a diverse place to learn and be. I'd be happy to talk with parents about this school anytime my email is jr578@cornell.edu."

    "When Compared to other public schools in the Bronx, The School of Community Reasearch and Learning has the highest test scores (with a low 6). The Academic Quality of the school is shameful, as is the level of respect exibited by the students. This is not because of the Faculty, for although 63% are first year teachers, many of them do there jobs well. It is a combination of the students, the near 6th grade curriculum, and failure of the principle himself. The school has recently intergrated music into the curriculum and plans to include music, sports and more Advanced Placement classes (although VERY few even come close to qualifying). The level of parental involvement is almost naught. The very few that TRY to become involved are almost literally rejected or pitfall into confusion due to the lack of structure in the school. Expect profanity and worse for it is almost natural."
