"This is my 3rd year in BMS. I love this school because of my friends and teachers. I personally believe that when I arrived here in 6th grade that the students were all nice. We have our cliques i'll admit but it's what's expected. But I have a few minor issues. The principal is NEVER around EVER. But ONE of the Assistent Principals takes over the face of the school and is AWESOME and always nice. The other is around all the time but doesn't have the same welcoming feeling. The sixth & seventh graders that I now see getting ready to take our places are mostly cruel, bullies and disrespectful. They only believe in the outer look of people and judge accordingly. During the 7th grade my friend and I had some issues with ourselves but found comfort in the schools Revolution (Christian youth group) Some kids were quite harsh to Special education children but BMS launched the don't say the R word group. Word travels fast if their is anything suspicious (Self harm, eating disorders, plotting, etc.) to the admin. I feel safe in BMS and welcomed no matter what."

"I am a student at Barrington MIddle School and I will be going into the 7th grade. Last year was amazing because I really learned alot through my teachers. They offer great elective elective choices and sports teams. Most of the reviews by students say that they get bullied alot but that isn't true. This school is amazing! People only get bullied because they aren't popular like me. You have to try to make friends other wise you get beat up. Don't worry all you new comers all you have to do is buy the right cloths make sure you have a cell phone and make friends. If you don't want to try to be popular and still don't get beat up just be sure to blend in and nothing will happen to you. If you are reading this and are really not sure about going here do not go to randall! The teachers just care about getting good ratings and scores. They don't care about you at all. And they have about 33 kids in each class. It was so cramped when I went there. If you are still feeling doubts about barrington you shouldn't be the teacher help you sooo much and try there hardest to help with the bullying. The only complaint I have is that you don't get a hall locker just a gym locker. I love BMS!"

"This school was sad. You always get accused for something you didn't do. Even if you explain why you didn't do it, it's a waste of time because they're still going to punish you. And I have the feeling most of the student body is racist based on my experience. Most teachers are mean. Didn't really learn anything important. Wouldn't recommend the school. Though the only upside is that they give out five dollars every friday to 'some' students."

"This school is eh eh. The curriculm is okay. But the bullying problem is horrible. They won't listen especially if it is 2 on 1. They say that there is absoulotly no bullying.....Well hate to burst your bubble beu no one really doesnt listen."
