"I believe that the administration and staff at Roanoke Rapids High School are top notch and work hard. In most of the parent meetings, I see the same small percentage of parents. It seems that those who are active, do a lot. Unfortunately, it isn't a large percentage of parents who are involved and can volunteer."

"This is a great school to go to. There is so many clubs, activities, and sports you can get involved in. The principals are always involved with the students and try to push them to do the best they can. I will admit SOME of the teachers are pretty crappy, but most of them get involved with the students and are excellent teachers. Almost every year the school is above average on EOC (End of Course) Testing! Roanoke Rapids High School is a great school!!!!!!!"

"This is my daughter's first year in high school and is involved w/sports. She seems to be adjusting well. One thing that does concern me is I know nothing of my childs progress, school activities and so on.She is in alot of advanced classes, one she,s having alot of trouble so comes home and has to depend on the internet(one huge problem with our children today).I think as parents we should be more welcome, also be able to get a response from a teacher when asked to set up a meeting."

"Roanoker Rapids is a good school, but I would love to see more diversity in the curriculum, more diversity in the band (you would probably get more students). As for as parents being more active people need to make sure that one come to help they are welcome and not a sore. For the prinicipal I never see him active around the school with the students. I wonder if he even know any of the students that go to school."

"My daughter goes to this school and it is very disappointing. The principal is the worst, you try to set up meetings with him and he nevers shows up. The subs. The have teaching are the worst, I would have never bought a house in town if I would when my daughter got to RRHS it was this bad"
