"Some great teachers, some not so great; but its all what you make of it. All staff and teachers are there to prepare you for your future, but they wont do it all for you. Washy has the best student section and I wouldn't have wanted to attend any other high school. I made life long friends and so many memories I will cherish forever."

"Most schools have their ups and their downs. Washingtonville High School has plenty of both. The teachers and faculty understand what it means to be a student here and not only make sure you have freedom but also try to make you feel like you fit in. The quality of teaching in general is able to fulfill students' needs. There are many clubs within the school that can help find someone a group to identify with. Some of these clubs have been created with the purpose of maintaining a healthy school environment. Coaches and trainers are phenomenal; they demonstrate a passion for their athletics, and outstanding care for the athletes they direct. Washingtonville High School fails solely in school pride and student unity; oftentimes students will congregate into separate groups that hardly interact with each other, but with the Safe School Ambassadors gaining influence, this is likely to change. Washingtonville Senior High School is best described as an above-average school."

"I wish it were better. Kind of lame. Classes are pretty good. Students are lame. Some teachers are great and some are terrible."

"I've never really like high school, but I felt like I did learn a lot from the teachers and from friends. Depending on what kind of student and person you are is what really determines you're experience, but all in all, WHS isn't too bad of a school. Some of the teachers it's frightening that they are still allowed to, but there are lots of others that's it's a blessing we've had them. There are lots of great clubs and sports teams, but sadly some tight knit cliques. I didn't have too much of a problem with it though, I had friends on the track team, in band, in other grades, and so on. For a small town, we're not doing too bad."
