"Longleaf is one of the best area school. After switching from Suntree, it was such a joy to have a school that understands parents work, and kids learn at different paces. The music program here is probably one of the best in the county."

"We are a military family and have done many moves. My daughter has never been tested for problems with her learning abilities but Longleaf took the time to look at the problems she was having and found a learning disability and have helped her to find better ways of learning."

"Our daughter, who is now in third grade, has attended Longleaf since Kindergarten. We moved to this particular school district because of the good things that were being said about Longleaf. We are very happy with the academic programs. Her teachers have been exceptional in every way, year after year. Many parents are involved in classroom and school activities. The aftercare program is wonderful as well. We know that when we are at work, our child is being well cared for. We do wish, however that music would be more available to the younger grades, such as playing an instrument. Our daughter would love to learn to play an instrument, but she has to wait until she gets to a higher grade. Overall, we are very pleased with Longleaf Elementary."

"My son went to Longleaf Elem. for the past 2 years and I absolutly loved the whole experience! His Kindergarted teacher actually got teacher of the year last year and I brag about her constantly, she is very nurturing to the young children and she makes learning fun for them as well. His 1st grade teacher went on maternaty leave before he could develop a rapport with her but they replaced her with a wonderful sub. the entire time she was out. Although the beginnining of the year was somewhat hectic this faculty did all they could to remain as consistant with their schedule, classwork, daily routines, and one sub. I was also very surprised and please to see how many parent volunteers they have at this wonderful school. We are now out of area from Longleaf and I hope I can find a school that is as wonderful as this"

"Longleaf is an excellent school. My son attended grades 1 - 4 and we are definitly sorry to be leaving. The teachers expect a lot from their students. They provide them with the necessary learning tools and give them extra help when needed. It is a well run and well managed school. The only thing I didn't like was that out of the 4 years my son attended he was in a portable 3 of the years."
