"My child goes there right now and I hate it. The teacher doesn't check his work on time . My child didn't have any problem before this .he was a good kid. This teacher talk down to the parents too. I went to the office but, guess what nothing happeness . The teacher teach 3 grade."

"My son went to this school for the beginning of his 1st grade year. He was there a month before I pulled him out. The classroom being setup in the gym during construction was a big distraction. The kids were allowed to go to different stations to do work, without the teacher really doing any teaching. Most of the focus was put on a behavioral chart, and not on educating the children. My son would come home every day crying, or feeling bad about his self because he would get moved down the "behavioral chart". I saw his self-esteem plummet, and his desire to learn thrown out the window. This school did not work for us. Homeschooling has been the best option. Especially considering the poor options of schools in the area. If you're thinking about this school, proceed with caution. And also be prepared for you child to have A LOT of homework!"

"This is my daughters 3rd year at Summit . She is in the 2nd grade this year.. I have to say I have Loved all of her teachers and feel they go way out of there way to help the kids .... My compliant about this school is there is way to many kids per class room ... They sent a letter home last year stating with the addition to the school that they wound be having smaller class rooms this year and they have NOT done this it is as bad this year... 30 in my daughters class ... The teachers are overwhelmed this is NOT the teachers fault it is the Administrations fault . I see this as I help out on Thru in my daughters class.. I am very disappointed that the Administration did NOT hold up to there promise on smaller class size .. But again I feel the teachers are great I have not had any problems with any of them ... My daughter loves her school but this is the only school she has been to ..."

"Summit Academy North is an excellent choice for my child. The teachers and administrators truly care about each child's success and it shows. Summit Academy has gone above and beyond to help my child with his educational needs. I am forever grateful that I found this school."

"I am a proud graduate of Warren Woods Tower High School class of 91 - which was the #3 school in the State when I graduate and I am also a graduate of Central Michigan University... Both of my children attend Summit Academy, my son went through North Elementary K-5 and is now at the Middle school and my daughter still attends North Elementary. This school teaches children to be responsible for themselves and is extremely open and willing to work with parents. They have repsonsibility models and hands on work in the classroom. The style of teaching is more on a Montessori level which works with your child instead of against them. Ms. Maci, the principal, amazes me every year, by the 3rd or 4th week fo school she knows all of the childrens names. As for retention level they had to add on classrooms..That definitely says something. A++++"
