"My daughter joined Woodview as a kindergarten student this fall and couldn't be happier. She is enthusiastic about every experience and each weekend cannot wait until the next school day! She is learning the basics in a manner that is fun and engaging; we couldn't be more pleased with her teacher. Fellow classmates seem to be friendly and there is a sense of camaraderie, even during the initial weeks, that is wonderful to see. Teachers and administration staff are warm, enthusiastic and helpful toward students and parents alike. We are pleased with our daughter's progress and hope the positive experience continues throughout her time at this school."

"My twins are currently enrolled in 3rd grade at Woodview and my 5th grader attended from K-4th. This school is wonderful, the parent teacher communication is very strong and encouraged. Parent envolvement in all activities are also encouraged. The school is also very community orientated. The school has a great program that assisits children who need help reading like my twins do, I assumed this was because of the no child left behind act, but have recently come to find out that Woodview school offers these great resources as an extra steps beyond this. When my oldest first started Woodview did have limited funds, butthey have come a long way. The school day now ends at 2:15, art and music are back and addition to the school is almost done and the mobiles will soon be gone!"

"My daughter is presently enrolled here and my son attended here (he's 12). The principal, teachers, administrators and assistants do a great job. The school does a fantastic job with what they have to work with (most of the funds seem to keep funneling into the newer schools). If we could get the school board to work as well...hmmm....."

"This school has been fabulous for my daughter who has ADHD. She started 1st grade on level and ended first grade at a late 2nd grade level. The teachers were incredible. The art, music and PE programs have been reinstated. They have computer lab once a week. I couldn't have asked for better resource teachers and their support staff. The principal was on hand and very supportive of the kids and most often would be seen outside as the kids were leaving school. PTSA activites are abundant and plenty of opportunity to serve your little ones."

"This is the oldest of the elementary schools in the district. As with the others the instruction focuses on standardized tests, so cursive handwriting, art, music, physical education, and other non test based elements are facing pressures. The community is seeing some outside 'cottage industries' providing supplemental activities. Community and parental involvement remains positive. Options such as local music, dance, sports, and tutoring companies are doing well. This location has the oldest facility, continues to extend use of 'temporary' mobile units and has playground equipment which is very dated. Attitudes and philosophy of the staff remain positive and Parental Involvement is good with PTO and other boosting efforts."
