"I believe that Frederick has greatly improved since last year. Although there is still bullying going on, I think that the reason is people are afraid to stand up for themselves and others. Today on my bus our bus driver was told by a girl that someone on the bus was being bullied. The princabal came onto the bus took the boys off if it talked to them, and they weren't very happy on the bus ride home! I am very happy with my experience here. P.S teachers aren't mean, the put up with you everyday, don't they?"

"I was formally a student there and it was not a good very school, especially if you are a child with disabilities. When I was there they weren't willing to provide the services I needed. In addition, they just pass students on. Also, I use to get bullied a lot, as did many of the kids that attended that school.and the school does nothing about this issue. You can ask many former and probably current students this. If you move to this area and into this school district and have a child with any form of disability my recommendation is homeschool or put them into a private school that provides high quality special needs services. The ways this school can improve in my opinion(I attended there 10 years ago for fifth grade so I don't know if they have improved since then.) is instead on focusing on building more stuff focus on having higher quality of education and have a better zero bullying tolerance policy."

"I'm wondering how long it will take before the school district puts a new Principal in this school. Enough is enough!"

"This school needs alot of work. First ther is some poor leadership and a lack of good communication on the part of the principle. Secondly, there is inconsistencies between the groups of teachers so that each child is not getting the same quality of education. Some teachers are good, very few great and alot of poor and lazy teachers just puuting in their time and collecting a check. Not enough people care about the children at that school. There is alot of dumbing down due to the type of students attending the school therefore average and above average students suffer. Overall, the school has some real trouble and does a disservice to the children it serves"

"Most of the teachers have been great, but some are unorganized & confuse the kids with their personal/professional imbalance. There are problems with bullying, conflict between minorities, effective discipline, and there is a disconnect in communication/cooperation with the school administration. We have witnessed many social problems within the school that have not been dealt with in an appropriate, effective, timely fashion. My son was picked on and witnessed too many other children being harassed by other children. The good kids that aren't a problem get in bigger trouble for minor issues and mistakes, than children that are consistently causing problems, picking fights and taunting others. This school could be much better if it was run with a more consistent, firm approach. Parents are uneasy about the safety and well being of their children, as we are. We are looking forward to moving on to a new school."
