"There are many teachers who really care about students and become mentors to those who want to be engaged outside the basic lessons and curriculum. Most teachers will even try their best to help students who don't seem to care, or to put in effort. However, there are also terrible teachers. The school board does a great job of listening to student complaints, though, and did a great job of getting rid of teachers who add nothing to the education of the students. Teaching styles and effectiveness do vary greatly, and I saw this often when comparing grades between my friends in the same class with different teachers."

"The teachers at my school really try to help students in any way that they can. They know that even if they can't, the students needs help, which will then lead to them giving the student a pass to go to an academic lab where they can get more individual help to benefit them."

"Mrs. Solar, the band director, is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She not only can control over 100 kids on her own, but she also keeps a safe enjoyable place for anybody and everybody. The classroom is full of either helpful posters, or just encouragement made by the kids for the kids. Mrs. Skolar is a very nice teacher and I love having her as one."

"The student body is pretty average for a suburbian high school. I have seen absolutely no racism. There are, of course, close-minded students who felt the need to complain about things such as the new gender neutral bathroom or gay straight alliance, but they are met and outnumbered by support. There is little to no bullying, but the staff still have programs to combat bullying that everyone ignores. There are, like in any other school, a lot of cliques, but they aren't exclusionary and everyone pretty much intermingles with everyone."
