"Academically this school provides adequate teaching for it's students. The quality of it's teaching staff varies, but overall gets the job done. However the safety of the children is in jeopardy when it comes to the parking lot before and after school. The lack of control over the flow of traffic is disasterous and needs to be addressed immediately."

"I was raised in South Sacramento and never knew anyone who attended Mark Hopkins. I would say overall, the school really tries to encourage parent participation. There are a lot of Spanish Speaking parents and their participation is remarkable. My experience so far has been good. The only complaint I would have is the way in the parents choose to park when picking up their kids; I've been almost hit head on more than once from cars leaving or coming in the wrong direction into the parking lot. The teacher that I have had interacted wtih, have been very cordial, helpful and supportive."
