"This school could be so much better if only there were more teachers and staff that cared about teaching the students. I have asked for assistance over and over and have not gotten any response from anyone to get help for my child. Letters, notes, phone calls and messages have gone unanswered for almost two school years. I am an involved parent and it seems I am blocked from every aspect of this school. The elementary school was wonderful! But the middle school is just so bad, it is a shame and a sad thing. I am tired of fighting for help that should be offered or suggested at first sign of failing grades. What am I supposed to do when as a parent ask and beg for help and am almost turned away from the door? Other schools I have been to welcome involvement from parents, but not here."

"This school is a joke, yes there is a 1 or 2 teachers that will go out of their way to help a child but majority will not. There is a lot of negativity that comes from the teachers instead of praising a child when they have done well they instead focus on the negative things of a child. And work after school and on weekends what a joke . We have been trying to get help for my child even going through the school board and still nothing. I do agree that this school needs better leadership in a principal. And the teachers need a refreshers course in child psychology."

"I think Parks Middle School is a great school. The staff at the school are caring professionals who are truly devoted to the task of educating children. I have seen the teachers go out of their way to help students be successful in their studies. The staff at this school puts in long hours working nights and weekends to make the school the great place that it is!"

"I am so disappointed with parks middle school, the primary had a very strick principal, but she tried hard to stay on top of everything , as for the middle school it is ashame when you have a principal that actually shows that he has favorites. And when I have gone to pick up my child there are times where students are pushing shoving or picking on other kids and the teachers say or do very little. If I had transportation to bring my child somewhere else I would Or atleast till they changed their principal."

"Growing up this was the best school ever, a caring principal, Teachers who loved to teach, 'What Happened?' When I needed to set up a meeting to talk to a teacher, they never returned my calls. I have gone to school to talk to the principal and he is always in a meeting or on campus grounds he never also returns call. I wanted my child to the same experience I did and it has been one disappointing thing after another."
