"I used to go to RAMS but I left of kids being racists to me. Actually, most Asians leaves RAMS from this reason. The teachers gives little attention to this problem. Also, from being at RAMS, I find the education too easy. At my new school, I instantly got a horrible grade in math because the teachers do not check your homework in RAMS."

"I go to this school. I think it is a great school compared to my old middle school (Bemidji Middle School). There are a lot of fights but thats normal. It would be nice if you could take more then one music beacuse when I moved here I had to drop Orchestra beacuse I was also in Band. The new lanyereds I find to be a horrible idea. They were a waste of money I never see anyone wearing them, except for sevies (7th graders) who are scared to be in trouble. Also I have heard rumers that the school spent the money from the Valley Fair money to spend of landyers, if they did there is going to be a lot more fights and arguing because people have been looking foward to it since last year. I am in both Geometry and Spanish, which are the only higher options avaible. I would be very happy if there was more higher options for people with higher goals. Otherwise I would recomend this school to most people."

"I go to this school, and it's actually not as great as they say. The reviewers do not know what they're rating. Principal Leadership should have gotten a higher rating. Dr. Hoskins is an amazing leader and a great principal! Kids in our school may break the rules a lot, but she handles it well with her supportive staff! The safety is pretty much the worst issue. There are way too many fights, but they handle it. I only have a problem with some of the teachers being really strict. I would recommend this school for some reasons, but not for many."

"RAMS is medicore in the area of academic programming. Accelerated math and foreign language only available in 8th grade. Nothing much for high potential students, all the programming resources seem to go into special education for which this school open enrolls many students from neighboring districts. A bright spot is the drama program - great plays, many opportunities in and out of class for students with this area of interest.I have no personal experience with the music program. Many afterschool athletic programs for both boys and girls and transporation home is provided after practice. Extremely limited academic extracurricular activities - mostly social clubs. Most children seem happy at RAMS, it's easy to make the honor roll, the vast majority of the teachers are committed, caring individuals who work hard. As with many schools there is too much disruptive behavior permitted in the classroom. Students are rarely removed, then just return"
