"It used to be a good school, but in the past several year has gone down rapidly. The teachers don't truly care about the students. The students have become numbers instead of names. The administrative staff is the same. I am very disappointed in this school."

"My son hated school before we moved here. He never wanted to go and begged to stay home. This year because of the kind teachers and staff he couldn't wait to go each and every morning. This school makes learning fun!"

"The faculty and staff at Read-Pattillo Elementary are the most dedicated, hard-working and caring people I know. It may not be the largest, newest, prettiest school in town but it's the best in any contest!"

"Read Pattillo is an A+ school. They have a great art program as well as music. There are quite a few excellent teachers. There is alot of parent involvement and school pride."
