"If I had to start my high school career all over, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else."

"At my current school teachers seem to want the students to do well, and I think it's genuine. It's something I appreciate, because I know teachers aren't always so genuine"

"The teachers at Marshall High School help us as much as possible and when needed, IF we come to them for help. If they see someone struggling with classwork, they are expected to go to tutoring, before or after school. At times, their main focus is to get through the lesson of the day to not fall behind, so for some students trying to comprehend the lesson is rather difficult. Obviously not every student learns the same way another student does, so at times some teachers attempt to cater to everyone's learning ways with different activities, unless it is like math or science. Overall teachers treat us as the young adults we "are" and expect us to keep up with missing work as well as work that is due, which is a good thing because it teaches students the importance of time management, responsibility, and work ethic."

"Large, diverse school. Most students are friendly, however, most are not motivated to perform well or care to learn. Drugs and other "bad influences" common, to a lesser extent amongst honors students. Easy to associate with who you choose to. Most teachers are great. Unfortunately, many students make their jobs more difficult than they need to be. The school seems to be improving with regard to opportunities but there is still a large culture of mediocrity amongst students, who can often do minimal work and still get by. There are still many intelligent, high-achieving, motivated students, they just do not constitute the majority."

"Diverse, mostly friendly, bad influences prevalent, but there are some highly motivated students as well"
