"Do NOT enroll your child here. I am 18, I've been here for 2 years and it's probably the worst experience I've had at a school. The teacher are overwhelmed and under appreciated. Teachers quit all the time because of drama from the "Fourth Floor". The A/C and Heater are always breaking and the school says they need to call the a/c people out to switch it from heat to a/c or vice versa. Some students will not graduate on time because of this school. This school lacks a chemistry teacher (again) so no one is getting tought anything in that class. The admins always say they are going to fix problems but as soon as people stop complaining they stop fixing it. This school cares more about dress code and appearance than learning and education. The superintendent gets mad when the girls aren't in there skirts. Don't waste your time. This is no college ready school, it's more like a small poorly ran public school."

"okay I go to this school and from my poit of view this school is in no way college ready.most of the kids that go there are kids who have bad backgrounds they keep them there and only like 11% of the student really wanna learn others rather skip and dayz off.I know beacuse ive been going there for about 7 years this school is in no way college ready there far from that when other people like high class people who want to come by and give the school money us kids.we have to act like were high class when really were not we are the most lieing school ever we act like were good so teachers and staff can get good money when rich people come by,we are a very fake school from what i think also we cant even experss who we really are inside."

"This is an excellent school that has a very caring staff. There are less than 300 students and that means only about 10 or 12 students per class. Students get a real chance at this school. There are some really nice students there, a few not so nice but thats because their parents are to lazy to teach them in any better and think it's someone elses responsibility. But over all I really love this school."

"When I enrolled my two children in this school two years ago I believed their marketing hype. They marketed the school as a place where dicipline and learning were the priority. We were told our kids would get a high quality education to prepare them for college. This was not the case at all. There is some discipline but it comes and goes. They are not preparing the kids for college. How can you prepare for college if you never have homework, term papers or do any kind of research? My kids grades are great because they are not challanged. A child can atted Hawkins HIgh School and get good grades just for showing up. The test scores and rating on this site are proof of this. Do your homework before enrolling your kids in this school. This school has grown too fast and lost touch with their goals."

"I taught at this school for a few years and all the administration cares about is money. They pack as many students as they can in a classroom and have teachers and staff with criminal backgrounds. Most teachers are unhappy and so dont really care about the students, they are just there to collect a paycheck."
