"The IB programme is great, but I would not recommend to take on the IB Diploma Programme because it caused too much stress for me."

"Personally, I might have considered a different high school because all of my friends would be going there and I didn't make a lot of friends at Capuchino. I'm grateful for the friends I did make and I wouldn't trade them, but I would also prefer to stay at a school where I had a lot of friends and knew almost everyone. I'm not going to sugar coat it, a lot of kids at Cap weren't all that welcoming to new kids and frankly, a lot of them were rather annoying. The work load, I will say, did give me a glimpse of what college would be like. IB classes were extremely stressful and the staff didn't do a great job at helping us balance IB classwork and homework because it was almost always given all at once everyday. There was also a great pressure for us students to volunteer, do extra curricular activities, get a job, get an internship and so on. These extra activities made it almost impossible to get a good night's sleep. Personally, I think that staff should have just offered these opportunities rather than pressure us into doing them. Well, in a way, they are preparing us for the real world right? I did, however, enjoy the after school program Steps to College that helps students earn college credits before actually entering college, so that was nice."

"Most at this school will dedicate extra time to students who are struggling with the coursework."

"Some of the teachers at cap are hard to get a hold of especially the senior teachers because they have other students to accommodate to but a lot of them are also very nice and helpful. Though, there are only a few teachers that actually help us prepare for college and only one class actually prepares us for life after high school which is AVID, my favorite class."
