"My son attended Garden Road for Kinder and the first half of 1st Grade. His Kindergarten teacher was abrasive and admittedly yelled at the children. She tended to label children who were bored as "bad" and treat them as such, so my very active and bored child was treated with bias. There was also a lot of bullying at the school. My son was pushed and kicked while on the ground. He was punched. He was spit on, his food stolen, called names by one other child in particular. After many weeks of this going on, the school finally did something to help stop it, but it took me constantly barraging the principal with phone calls. His teacher did absolutely nothing about it until she was told to do so by the principal. As for 1st Grade, his teacher was a dream come true. She was compassionate towards ALL the children. She was excited about teaching and seeing the kids learn. She even realized that my son needed something extra and recommended him for a special program at the school so that he would be able to have more direct one-on-one time with a teacher and learn skills that would support him in his school career."

"This school is great from the staff to the students I couldn't ask for more. The teachers are so dedicated the children always come first always have lots of great activities going on and they make learning fun! Great educational environment!!"
