"The classes that I have taken at High Tech are all very different, but I do take in a lot of new skills from each of them. If there is anything I am sure I've learned at High Tech High, is to make a good quality project while working with others. This breaks down to many categories, some of the most prominent are problem solving and communication. These are now some of my strongest qualities while in a working environment. I would not trade these experiences for ones that might not be as striking. At some level I have always enjoyed every project I have done. From comic book making to business creation, there is often one thing in every project I learn or have the most fun doing."

"While I do miss aspects that a traditional high school would offer, I have grown more at this school than i could've anywhere else. The unique experiences and oppurtunities I've had have prepared me for more than just college, but the world after."

"It helps those who learn by doing and if you aren't able to do so then this isn't the school for you. You will learn how to do great public speaking, group projects, and how to manage your time so that you're able to finish your wok on time. I gained a lot of confidence in myself and was given many great opportunities I wouldn't have if I went to a regular public high school. However, I was not prepared study for tests in college. I am well adjusted now but it took some time to learn. I know the further I progress in school the better I will do and that I'm more prepared to take internships or apply to jobs because of High Tech High."

"It's hard to find a teacher that is dedicated in his students learning and at the same time understanding the student emotionally. If a student is at a point in there life where everything is just not going right ,I think it's important for the teacher to understand them and be able to help as we'll.Mr.Madrigal is that teacher he's the person I can go to when I have a problem and I know he won't do nothing but give me advice in how to deal with my problem . He has made such a comfterble Inviorment for me and many other students . Even after 2years of him being my teacher I know I can still go back to his class and talk to him like if he was still my teacher . That is why he is the best teacher any student could have ."
