"This school has been one of the best experiences in my life because everyone is so nice and with a positive attitude. Teachers and staff are always helping you so you could make it far and not just finish high but go beyond high school."

"The teachers at Hoover high school aren't as bad as parents assume them to be. They are usually available to speak to whenever I need help. The lessons that were taught this year were very engaging. To add, my English class offered a lot of opportunities for me. For example, I got the opportunity to have my written work be published in a book! Overall they could improve a bit more by making lessons more interesting. Other than that, I have no problems with the teachers at Hoover High school."

"I was very confused at the beginning of the year because I had the wrong schedule for a week. Other than that, my whole year has been very fun and interesting! I got to experience many new things this year. For example, key club and APAC. One of my favorite experiences is joining the homecoming float. It helped me make new friends and learn more leadership skills. It was so much fun that I joined again this year. This year I am in charge of basically everything (music, dances, and the skit). Hoover High School allows me to be outgoing because it has many clubs and organizations there. In conclusion, Hoover high school is the prefect environment for me and I cannot wait to go back to school!"

"Hoover high school is known as one of the most supporting schools in the San Diego school district, no other schools have the same program as us. Since my freshman year a program called gear up has been supporting us since then and has been there for us when our year was done. My favorite experience throughout the whole year is the spirit of our students and parents, every time there is a game or an organization everyone comes out and supports our athletes and clubs. What makes our school unique is the students, teacher, and parents. Also the way we treat others and respect our school and other schools who come and compete with us, we give them support too and gratitude for coming to play. We support and help others in our community to make city heights a safer and environmental place, we participate in activities, such as cleaning up the streets, feeding the needs, gardening, tutoring kids, and so much more. We love to give back to the community. I would totally go back and do it again all over because I love my school and support upcoming freshman and helping them to stand out and join clubs and sports."

"The parents are usually not involved with programs and games, but some of them are."
