"This school has been one of the best experiences in my life because everyone is so nice and with a positive attitude. Teachers and staff are always helping you so you could make it far and not just finish high but go beyond high school."

"I was very confused at the beginning of the year because I had the wrong schedule for a week. Other than that, my whole year has been very fun and interesting! I got to experience many new things this year. For example, key club and APAC. One of my favorite experiences is joining the homecoming float. It helped me make new friends and learn more leadership skills. It was so much fun that I joined again this year. This year I am in charge of basically everything (music, dances, and the skit). Hoover High School allows me to be outgoing because it has many clubs and organizations there. In conclusion, Hoover high school is the prefect environment for me and I cannot wait to go back to school!"

"The teachers at Hoover high school aren't as bad as parents assume them to be. They are usually available to speak to whenever I need help. The lessons that were taught this year were very engaging. To add, my English class offered a lot of opportunities for me. For example, I got the opportunity to have my written work be published in a book! Overall they could improve a bit more by making lessons more interesting. Other than that, I have no problems with the teachers at Hoover High school."

"My English teacher, mr. Valencia is one of the best teacher and supporter out there. He will always have your back no matter what he actually cares about succeeding and try's his hardest to help us with our struggles and stay everyday after school to help us with our homework not just English, but other subjects. He does this because he wants us to pass his class with a "C" or better. He always understand us, gives really good advice, and listens to us when we have an issue outside or in school. He comes in everyday with a positive attitude and a big smile.I love the way he teaches, he makes it fun as possible and does many activities to make the subjects understandable . My other teachers are good too, but not as much as him."

"This school's reputation is negative; everyone thinks the people are bad, programs are bad, and the teachers are bad. This isn't the case ,though. Once you get to know the teachers, they are mostly really helpful. They are approachable and are willing to help any way they can. They recently all changed their teaching style and made in more interactive and engaging. They mix their core subject of teaching with other subjects. Stereotypically, they are recognized as bad, but reality, they are the best."
