"This is the worse school my kids had ever been...Teacher and principal they havo no authority over the kids kids they just do whatever they want. They always complaint about everything which means that they havo no way how to handle difficult situations with kids also I don't like the fact that they give kids homework in spanish..I am spanic and I came to this country very young..And I learn english the good way or the bad way..And I think everybody should learn english no matter what..No homework should be given in spanish at all that will confuse the kids and they wont make no efforts to learn english....Jefferson school is worse school ever..."

"There is not a lot of parent involvement. The staff and principal are wonderful and supportive. There are 2 opportunities for After School Care."

"We were very pleased with the education that our child received. Our child spent kindergarten and half of first grade at this school before moving to a new state. Her teachers in both grades were EXCELLENT! The school staff was friendly the principal was a little stand-offish but overall because of the excellent teachers we had a good experience."

"Unfortunately, I believe Jefferson Elementary was a big disappointment the last year. I was unhappy with the quality of the work produced and the lack of teacher instruction. This will be my sons last year with Jefferson and I plan on providing him with a tutor just so he won t get behind in starting the sixth grade. I wished that they had a music program or after school activities for the children to participate in. I believe that that would allow the children to take pride in those activities, school spirit and even class work. They do however have several exceptional teachers, but because they are few and far between, its does nothing for the child when they go onto the next grade."
