"I love Mt. Carmel! The teachers are caring, there are a variety of elective programs, and epic students! I expected high school to be a scary and awful experience but in reality I was greeted by the friendliest people! I'm proud to be a Sundevil!"

"I love everything about this school. I cant say I've had a bad day because I didn't like the school. The people, the spirit, the atmosphere, and just about everything else is amazing. I would definitely want my kids to go here"

"I love being a Sundevil at Mt. Carmel High School! I really enjoy the amount of school pride that gushes out of my learning environment. Encouraging students to wear the school colors red and gold on Fridays is a tradition that I really like being a part of. It makes me feel connected to the rest of my class, supporting the comfort of the community. Going to the football games are one of my favorite memories regarding this high school, even though I haven't attended many, nor am I a fan of football. What attracts me to these school-wide events is the liveliness, the support of community, the enthusiasm, all with the closest friendships I have created here. And of course, apart from the welcoming feel of Mt. Carmel, the teachers are very caring and want what's best for their students. When I'm struggling in class, I don't have to feel scared about asking for help. This is one of the best things about my school. It's a truly safe environment."

"It has its positives with different opportunities within the school, but could also use some improvement with buildings."

"The atmosphere of Mt. Carnel High School is welcoming. You feel at home the minute you step onto campus, you feel accepted and proud of the high school choice made. My favorite experience at high school has to be firstly, the first day of school because students always come nervous, especially as a freshman being lower class again and not familiar with your surroundings, but at orientation, there was a tunnel of students, staff, teachers, etc. that lined up on both sides extending far out from the gym that you walk through into the gym along with your peers. It's an amazing feeling that sends chills because of the first impression made, not feeling lost or left out. It's great to be a Sundevil because we're one big family, through academics, extra curricular activities, and sports."
