"I can't be more happy with Adda Clevenger. My son is a kindergartner who loves this school. There was a time when I treated private school as a pre-cursor to when we might get into a good public school in the city, but Adda has changed that. We've moved closer to Adda thinking that this is a long-term proposition and we've stopped even applying to public schools. One of the things that worried us initially was whether a "performance" school would teach my son math. That has been a non-problem since my son is excelling at math and learning to read, while breakdancing every now and then :). At Adda, the curriculum allows my son to find confidence in the things that he does best. Add to that the fact that the parents are some of the most forward-thinking, tech-friendly people in the city, and you have a great, great school. A+."

"Adda Clevenger is the rare private school in San Francisco that successfully -- and equally -- serves both children and parents. The atmosphere is warm yet disciplined. Class sizes are small, as is the school, which means everyone knows each other and gets to collaborate and shine individually. The teachers are excellent; AC graduates get into the best public and private high schools. The PE, arts, singing, drama, and dancing programs are knock outs. The school day is long (8:30 am - 5 pm) because extracurriculars are woven into the program. This means working parents don't need to drive around town all afternoon or worry their children are not getting enough after-school social life and stimulation. I love the place, as does my daughter."

"We are very pleased with Adda Clevenger for our daughter. The school's philosophy of combining advanced academics with performing arts really works. The students develop a self-confidence through performing that allows them to excel in and out of the classroom. The small class sizes and extended academic calendar allows the school to stay at the forefront of education. The principal has made significant advances in technology and communication, and the teachers, staff, families, and everyone involved with Adda Clevenger are truly wonderful."

"I recently graduated from Adda Clevenger and it was the most wonderful school I could have asked to go to. I would like to address some of the past reviews. The kids don't like Adda because the academics are weak, I'm currently taking all honors and getting decent grades. Also who cares how much technology they have, studies have shown it damages your brain. Adda Clevenger is such an incredible school that I would cried for more than I care to say. At Adda you will also get into the high school that you want, whether it is the best school in the city or not. My high school was my top choice. To add to that my sibling, who also went to Adda, is now going to one of the best colleges in the country. Also Adda may not have the biggest influence on sports, but that is because it's a performing arts school. Honestly if you send your kid to a performing arts school do you really expect them to be playing soccer every day. For the record in PE we do sports, and for the past three years I'd gone there I had PE every day; plus dance. The school has also been said to "not foster creativity." That is completely off. There are entire classes dedicated to creativity. Adda is an amazing school."

"I am a student at Adda Clevenger and have been for 8 years now. It is absolutely amazing and I cannot express how grateful I am for everything that I have learned and experienced. Even with the "long" school day I find myself coming in early and staying late whenever I can. The atmosphere is the most supportive and fun one I've ever been in and the teachers are absolutely incredible. I love Adda, and strongly encourage any parent looking for a school to send their child(ren) to, to consider it."
