"I absolutely LOVE this school. Yes, there have been some growing pains with the move from a smaller K-5 school to a bigger K-8 school but it's already better than when school started. Vice-Principal Sr. Alegre is very involved, caring and I trust that he will make the school shine. I am relieved to know that the payoff is that my child will be in a this tight-knit and very warm community for the next 9 years. Maestra Linda is wonderful beyond words and my child genuinely enjoys going to school every day. I would make it my first choice school again in a heartbeat and am looking forward to working hard to make it as good of a school as it can be for all Buena Vista children and making friends in the process."

"I love the participation and caring form from the staff and parents, parents look after all kids and the teachers are just great, they really care for the students education and well being, first child we did Catholic school, this time around I went public education and choose Buena Vista, could not be happier, my kindergardner has learned a lot both in spanish and english, I just love the skill my daughter is getting from Buena Vista, and the principal Mr. Alegre well he is just a very caring man for the children in his school. Just like Mr. Alegre says Buena Vista is chevere!!!!!"

"The teachers at Buena Vista are very dedicated. They really care about the students. This full Spanish immersion school has a warm heart and a great spirit. The arts program exposes the students to art, dance and music in a wide variety to really help them tap into learning and observing in different ways. The parent community is very supportive of the teachers and students. Parents work hard with the teachers and staff to help maintain a great dynamic leaning experience for the kids."

"Buena Vista is a small school in a big city. As a parent, I am excited to be a part of such a warm and caring community of students, teachers and parents. The children are all in a Spanish Immersion program, giving them a lifelong skill of being fluent in both Spanish and English by the time they graduate 5th Grade. It's a great public school!"
