"The school doesn't quite satisfy the academic demand of top students of a class. 3 APs limit really pisses top kids off. I know some can do 5. The policy is good, but more exceptions and openness is needed."

"I chose Wallenberg because coming from a big middle school, I really wanted a smaller school so that I can find myself in a smaller community. It really becomes a family after awhile. I'm a really shy student, so I don't necessarily fit in or play a huge role, even in such a small community, but I'm definitely valued and people (at least in my grade) are very considerate of my feelings and my opinions when I share them. The teachers I've met here have been some of the most life changing people ever. They helped me cope with my depression, allowed me to find myself and my passions, and really supported my academic struggles by staying after school. A lot of my teachers involve technology in their classrooms whether it be through fun review games like Kahoot or interactive powerpoints; and this really advances my ability in using technology for school and this is such a great skill for when I head off to college next semester. This school is unique because it's really student focused. All events are built mostly by students' ideas and their ambitions and that's what makes it wonderful and special in my eyes. Most find our events such as our assemblies or parties dry and boring, but I find them fun and interesting. I love the variety of cultures brought into the assemblies and I also love the effort students put into planning and fundraising. I feel safe on campus and around the campus; and I love the accessibility of Target across the street and a variety of restaurants. The students are for the most part respectful. There are fights but that's with every school and I've never felt harmed or near harm. There are bad teachers also, but they're tolerable and I haven't been highly affected by them. Overall, a great school and I grew a lot here. I definitely do not regret this experience. The counselors are also on point."

"Every school has is up's and down's and high school is only what you make it. Personally, I've greatly enjoyed joining sports teams and becoming part of various clubs that the school has to offer. This school is unique because it is small, so everything is manageable and there aren't too many students to be-friend. I would choose this school again because I've fallen in love with small communities that encourage young people to take part in as many activities as manageable"

"This school really brings into light on why I prefer smaller schools. I had the opportunity to go to one of the larger, more prestigious school in the district, but I chose this one. Here I was able to do things I didn't think I could do at a different, bigger school. I'm able to connect with my teachers on a more personal level than I was able to do before. Additionally, I'm able to do sports I never had any experience in and sports I wished to continue on from middle school. I'm able to go and do things I want without having to worry about being cut from the team or worry about my teachers not knowing because of this school. Admittedly, in the beginning I didn't like the school all that much. It's small size and the fact that it did seem a bit suffocating with all the students in the halls, turned my opinion in the opposite direction. But because it's small, it's easier to get to know people since everyone has the general idea of who you are. And I think that's what makes this school so appealing to someone like me who doesn't like the overwhelming feeling of being surrounded by strangers."

"-Teachers: average, there are some good and some bad - curriculum: there aren't many course options -scheduling process: relatively simple: you fill out an app in the spring semester and the counselors set up everything. You get your schedule when school starts, and changes can be made in the first week, though there's a line down the hallway. -workload: The difficulty is how you make it. You can take regular level classes, and breeze through highschool. If you're planning to go to a good college however, be prepared to take multiple AP classes. Honors classes don't exist at Wallenberg. The AP classes are pretty difficult. -special study options: night school if you failed a class -popular classes: APUSH, AP Chem, Biotechnology, AP Stat"
