    "As an educator and a grandmother of school age children, I would recommend SF Flex to parents of high school students. It is a school staffed with personnel who really believe that all children can learn. These well-trained teachers find the students' learning mode and proceed to teach them so they can successfully complete the State curriculum and move on to college, well prepared to succeed. The most important job for parents is to make sure their children are well educated. SF Flex Academy staff are the partners we need in that endeavor.     "This school has been great for my self-directed, college-bound student. This will be our 3rd year,and we are glad we persisted. The rough spots are getting ironed out, thanks to the great leadership of the new head of school who came on board last January, working with a caring and motivated staff. There is now finally a sense of cohesiveness and stability. With the official institution of a new Parent Teacher Student Association at the end of the past school year, there are great plans in place for activities involving families, students, and the teachers. There are plans which should also make for an easier transition into this type of learning system for those new students and parents/guardians coming in."

    "SF Flex Academy is truly a great school! :) Being a student from the beginning, I've been through every rough patch the school has experienced- and I can honestly say I wouldn't have chosen another school despite the ups and downs. SF Flex is not for everyone; but if you're a student seeking help on a personal level, motivation, a small environment, or independent learning, this may be a great choice for you. I've gotten to know all the staff and have developed actual friendships with them unlike most schools allow you to do because of a fast-pace atmosphere and too many other students. To be completely honest, SF Flex has gone through a lot in the past two years; but I always see improvement. Since our new principal, SF Flex is finally starting to unleash the great potential it has. For students seeking to be spoon-fed by the teachers, like in some high schools, they often encounter a 'rude awakening' when they realize they have to feed themselves. Staff are always readily available when you need the extra help, but this school prepares you for college life by teaching you independence so that you can stand on your own. I would write more; but alas, there is a character limit. :("

    "I think that SF Flex Academy is a great school for students who are striving for independence and motivation in learning. Before I found SF Flex, I didn't have enough motivation to learn and be a part of the school community, and I was very dependent on my friends to get me pass every class. FLEX CHANGED ME!!! At Flex, a lot of students strive to change, to be better, and the teachers are always encouraging and energetic when it comes to learning. I found myself liking school more and more every time I stepped into Flex. I met a lot of people I know I will keep in touch with after I graduate! Flex is a school of exceptional talented students, and I am proud to be a part of something so great (:"
