"My daughter has really enjoyed and grown at this school. The regular HS environment was not working out well and she was not working to her potential. At Middle College she has been getting a 4.0+ and getting to try out college class as well. The teachers and counselors in the program are great and develop challenging and interesting assignments that my daughter enjoys pursuing. The college courses allow her to experience a typical college program--no daily homework, but you must study for midterms and finals. The small class size ~50 is nice too. She has peers, but is not so overwhelmed by the HS social scene. I've only spoken with the program principal once, but she seemed very competent and caring. Because of the smallness of the program and the fact that students come from all over the district, there are no sports/extra curriculars and there doesn't seem to be any parent participation; however, it is not an issue for my daughter as she has her own interests going. This program is not for everyone, but for my daughter it has been the perfect situation/experience. She is back on track for UC."

"Middle College is a great way to get ahead. It is nice because you dont have to do the 8-4 school thing but still get more credits then if you did. On a social level you will know everyone there are only about 50 students."
