"What I liked most about attending this school was the atmosphere it projected and the friendliness of faculty and staff. All the teachers that I had were great and left an impact in my life for the better. This school embraces culture and diversity and that's what I loved about Bowie. There were so many before and after school clubs/activities that involved every student. There wouldn't be one thing that I would change about Bowie High School because it's pretty much perfect in its own way and I'm glad that I graduated from there. I created friendships with the faculty and staff and knew that they were always there for me. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog."

"The teachers care about their students for the most part. The teachers are usually good with kids, but not necessarily qualified. The office staff is unkind, and so are the hallway monitors. The police officers very kind, however. Most of the best teachers have left."

"Bowie was a decent school. Most of the teachers really get to know their students on a personal level, from extra curricular activities they're involved in to the student's family life. However, the counselors do not try to help the students with scheduling problems. Also, some of the teachers find all their worksheets and homework online, making it really easy to copy in ten minutes and not have to do any work."

"Giant school with many clubs, classes, and sports to choose from. The court yard is the largest feature, dwarfing the cafeteria. The Main Academics building is dated and lacks any heating or cooling systems. There are also portables outside, two gyms, a newly renovated sports wing, and a giant library."

"The teachers at bowie high school care about their students and push them to succeed in every course. With this being said, teachers and students deserve a better environment to learn and teach in. Bowie high school is an older austin school that is made up of cement, I would like to see changes being made to the appearance of bowie that way it welcomes its visitors, students and teachers."
