"This school does not accommodate kids with issues like ADD and they don't stay on top of things. If your child struggles, don't expect extra support or understanding. They're only worried about test results, not individuals. And there are some teachers there that are just plain of disrespectful and demeaning to kids who are struggling. We've had a horrible experience with one teacher being disrepectful even with us adults and refusing to help when repeatedly asked. If your child doesn't need help and is naturally a good student then it will be fine but if your child struggles with any learning issues, trust me, find another school -this school is not at all what is once cracked up too be."

"I wish I could rate this school higher . It worked pretty well for one of my children, but really has been such a struggle for my younger one. If your child has a learning difference, this is not the school for them. Poor services, a lot of ignorance and at times cruel interactions. If they are very motivated and organized, Hall can work well. But the lack of leadership is really discouraging. Couple great teachers along the way, but quite a few who are burnt out and need to move on."

"I am a student at Hall Muddle School and the lack of support from some of my teachers is below average. My parents have tried to contact some of my teachers on various occasions when my grades concerned them. My parents and I both agree that one of my teachers teaches us about just one culture and not specify on the curriculum. Next year I will be in 8th grade and I would not want to have that teacher again. If I were to get that teacher again then I would request a transfer. I don't blame the school for these things but the teachers"

"My son is in his last year at Hall. Better than Davidson from where we came in San Rafael, but middle of the road in terms of how the school performs overall. From my experience, the faculty seems disgruntled, and the Principal appears to spend more time putting out fires emanating from his difficult teachers, resulting in a huge distraction and poor reflection upon the students. I do empathize with the Principal to a degree, having to deal with a few dump truck teachers with tenure, protected by a very powerful union, which would be let go anywhere else in a sane world. Again, this distracts from the students which are the focus of the program. I also feel social agendas (environmentalism, cultural indoctrination) being imposed upon the students, which will not assist them in getting into the college of their choice, or their chosen field/vocation later in life. Sorry, but Larkspur School District needs to step in and have a how the cow-ate-the-cabbage chat with Hall s faculty."
