"We are lucky to be in our third year at QCE. We attended JBE until the boundaries changed and we were moved to QCE. That was the best thing that ever happened to us! We have had outstanding teachers (Ms. Cummins, Mr. Jeffers, Ms. Matthews, Mr. Kaesler) who go above and beyond with the children. Coach Stowers is amazing as well, a great advocate for the kids with good health and promoting exercise and fun in class. The lower grades started slower with their AR goals (1st and 2nd grade) but by the end of 3rd grade my daughter had a goal of 45 and was actually doing 100+ points instead because her teacher and Principal Horton kept challenging her to do more! Our experience has never been more than 30 min a night of homework (excluding the AR reading request of 15 - 30 min nightly)."

"school for AR reading achievement). Now four weeks into the new school year the teacher is just giving us excuses to why he is falling behind and no solutions. The matter was brought up to Principal Horton. Again we were met with excuses and no solutions, not even a conference to discuss what the possible problems are. Ms. Horton was interrupting statements and not listening to concerns. This was after three messages and 4 days later a finely getting a response back. We are not complainers just very discouraged and disappointed. This disappointment comes from a mother and teacher of eleven years and a concerned father."
