"At first I was not happy about transferring my son to George Washington Carver Elementary. But once I saw how teachers enjoy working and teaching the kids, I changed my mind and left my son at that school. The teachers communicate with parents 1 a week to give a progress report of the child and I as a parent believe that is very important to know. For the reason that we are working and not with them at school."

"The teachers are great. They give 150% of themselves. They could use a little help in the main office's personnel but they get the work done. They are so much involved in the childrens lives."

"The majority of the teachers are very nice but do not have enough experiance. The children are not supervised properly during breaks, they have volunteers or moms helping to do the monitoring but my child was hurt by other children while the playground aids where onsite. When my child went to tell someone no one did anything they just told him to let it go and keep playing. It is also very hard to get to the gate to pickup and drop off children. The majority of the students speak a second language so if you are english only this is not the school for your child."
