"One child graduating this year, one finishing freshmen year. Graduating child was accepted at all the colleges she applied and recieved multiple merit based scholarships. Younger child is blossoming at the school. TKA does not have all the bells and whistles that other privates schools have but I don't mind because all those bells and whistles may give a chld a sense of entitlement. The two things that differntiates TKA are the service trips and the teachers. The teachers are extremely competent and really care about their students. The service trips are a life changing experience, 95% of the students and lot of teachers and parents take a week off and go to Mexico, Kentucky , Los Angeles and other places and learm what it means to serve."

"I have 2 kids attending this school. I think the school is academically challenging in a very supportive and positive environment. It fosters a spirit of caring and integrity throughout the school community. No bullying, intimidation is tolerated. On the other hand, you can see middle and high school students are supportive of one other. The teachers are very well qualified, and are very available to offer help and support even after class hours. The administration also takes the parent survey and input seriously. It may not be perfect, but it's a pretty good school that provides a good and healthy environment where students can flourish academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally balanced."

"So far, our experience with The King's Academy has been outstanding. My student is in 7th grade and doing well in Algebra 1. Most of his 7th grade contemporaries at our neighborhood Palo Alto middle school are in Pre-Algebra, with very few in Algebra 1. The King's Academy fosters my student's academic growth through a challenging, yet supportive environment. We have not encountered any negative experiences at this school. The staff is helpful and friendly. The teachers are caring and expect the best from the students. Based on our middle school experience, we are planning to continue our student's education at The King's Academy rather than attending our crowded and super-competitive neighborhood high school."

"Less than half of their 8th grade stays at Kings for highschool. There is a reason for the mass exodus. Ask them for the percentage of the 8th grade class that passes Algebra, compare that to the public school pass rate of 70% and keep in mind that Kings has an entrance exam. Parents are not allowed to attend board meetings."

"As a graduate of The King's Academy I will say this school used to have very strong science, english, drama and athletics programs. If you want your kid to avoid getting into drugs this is the place for you. On the flip side the history department is a joke and this school is a breeding ground for intolerance, dogma and bigotry. Also, If your child is lgbt or a person of color they will need years of therapy to get over the damage done by this "school.""
