"This is mainly based on how much the individual wants to succeed. If they are willing to push, the school offers the courses a student make take."

"There is a variety of classes offered at this school, however it's difficult to change them especially AP classes. It's become harder to switch classes because of the large number of students now attending Santa Clara High, but I do wish it were somehow manageable to switch out of AP classes since it's very rare when counselors allow you to drop a class."

"Academics at this school are decent in the sense that it depends on what teacher you have. Usually we have 2-3 teaches teaching the same class throughout the day so depending on which teacher basically tells you how the rest of your year will be in that class. The scheduling process can often be infuriating because we need more counselors and classes are usually already full so there's no way of getting into that class that you may have needed. The workload is time consuming because teachers do not accommodate for students with sports every night and don't have time like other students. Teachers also assign homework based on their class and not thinking of how much other homework students have already recieved."

"I think the school overall is very accepting. It is a very diverse campus and we respect those who are different whether it be gays, transgenders, religion difference, ethnicity difference, everything is respected. There aren't problems in regards to being different."

"As we're right in the Bay Area, there are students of all sizes, colors, religions, and sexual orientations. The school is very accepting of all these differences. There are clubs for many races, religions, and sexual orientations. Students are proud of their background."
