"I attended Ridgway for about a year and a half, and my experience there was not what i'd imagine! Many are quick to judge this school but it taught me more than any regular high school. The staff is amazing and and they have best the teacher any student can ask for, they truly CARE and it makes all the difference when aplying it to learning."

"There's no point to ditch at this school. They give you so much space and actually treat you like an adult. And most importantly, the teachers actually teach you"

"i have learned more at this school than any school to have been o before (which for record has been 3 high schools) Ridgways Teacher Student relationships are closer than any i have seen, and cannot be acheived at big crowded high schools such as others in that district. i would reccommend Ridgway for anyone, even my own children."

"The California Model School designation of academic programs at Ridgway HS are highly structured but flexible to the needs of the student. Small classroom size and the unique work of teachers as student advisors along with a experienced staff of administrator, support specialists, and four counselors, give students the support they need to succeed in a safe and firmly disciplined school environment. The school was built in 1996 and is attractive and a well planned environment. Computer design, video production, a student newspaper and Art classes are available as well as a competitive sports program with baseball, basketball, and volleyball. Our PE facility has the exercise equipment of a small health club. The other extracurricular activities at Ridgway are reduced because of the size and the emphasis on academics at Ridgway. Parental evolvement is on a par or better than other continuation high schools in the area."
