"You will not find a better school in the state. Make sure you get your tour and get registered soon because once you see how much this school will benefit your child you will want them in yesterday. Our Daughter was lucky enough to get in and she is doing great. I can't say enough good things about this school. They do what they say they will and that's refreshing in today's world."

"SMA does have a computer course that is quite extensive. Cadets are taught applications and diagnostic skills. I find the academy absolutely the best high school in the state!"

"I am puzzled as to why the school has no computer courses, either basic or advanced? Otherwise it seems to be adequate or above average for my grandson."

"A serious attempt at improving public education. The students, administration, teachers and parents are all involved to offer the best education available and expect the best from the students. The success rate of the students and the college acceptance rate of the graduates indiates that the program is working...quite well. I would not consider another local public/charter school."

"Sarasota Military Academy has to be one of the biggest jokes as far as education goes. The education is completely sub-par. I have been to other high schools before this one and it is a total joke. The Teachers have no control over the classroom most of the time, you don't learn near as much as in a more controlled environment, and the kids are absolutely awful. The discipline at the school is terrible. The punishments administrated by the instructors as a whole is completely useless because of the strong use of favoritism that has run rampant in the school. Because of this, there is a big bullying problem at the school. If your student is into art or theater, this is not the school for your child. The school puts on a front that is unreal, a majority of the academics are bad, and so are the kids in general."
