"Prospect is a good school. Not bad, not great. Just good. However, it is getting better. They have made more AP classes, including making a 2 year AP Physics class, AP Mandarin. They have made more electives, such as Sociology/Psychology (which is a class that I was dying to take since Freshman year and was hoping that the school would provide this class). Homecoming week is always fun. The entire school seems to become very spirited and each class gets very competitive, but the seniors always win haha. I just wish that the people wouldn't be so stuck up and think they are above everyone because (they think) they are respected because they are "popular.""

"Some teachers really care and try to help you understand but others are okay and they just want to get paid and don't care if we understand"

"Many of the teachers at Prospect are knowledgeable and know what they are teaching. However, some people are not meant to teach. Although I did not get any "bad" teachers, I often hear bad reviews of teachers and I think the main problem is that they are impatient and those teachers do not understand the struggle of trying to grasp a difficult concept. In my opinion, teachers should be patient with students and willing to help them when they are struggling and those "bad" teachers do not do that. My friend who has a "bad" math teacher (I will not name her), always tell me that when she goes to ask the teacher about a problem she has trouble solving, to ask her friends, use the textbook, google it, then come to her as a last resort. A teacher should always be willing to help the student, rather than asking them to "google it." In addition, of the many teachers who are very knowledgeable on what they teach, they do not give very interesting lectures, which cause students to fall asleep. One of the my favorite teachers who teaches history gives interesting lectures that keep me engaged for entire class. I think it is because he includes real life examples and explains how the concept from the lecture applies to our lives. All in all, there are amazing teachers at Prospect but some teachers are "bad" because they are "bad" at teaching."
