"When students request to change classes, schedules, or teachers, their request is usually rejected. The counselor's are of very little help."

"Most students are stereotyped or separated into groups. There is a lot of conflict between the students and faculty."

"There is nothing remarkable about this school. We have most of the clubs that are available at other schools and not many that aren't available anywhere else. Since I started my freshman year, we have acquired a few more AP classes, such as AP Language and Composition and AP Calculus BC, which is nice and offers students more opportunities. However, I have noticed that a lot more support and funding is given to AP classes and to help AP students. As an AP student, I find it quite helpful, but in my regular classes, I've noticed that the books are antiquated to say the least while AP classes get new books every other year. Personally, I find that to be classist, but I don't know that it's a unique problem to Prospect. I would choose to go to this school if I had to do it all over again, because there are other schools not very far from here that have much fewer opportunities and private school seems excessive, so by default I would stay where I am."

"Some teachers just don't teach well enough for the students to be able to understand. Also very little amount of teachers express that they enjoy teaching."

"There are a couple of teachers who really stand out and work extremely hard to help their students. I would even say that a few of my favorite teachers of all time came from Prospect. However, most of the teachers I've had were alright and several are downright incomprehensible. For two of my classes this year alone I've relied exclusively on my textbook to learn the material and prepare for the test. Which is why I would say the average is "okay". There are a few wonderful teachers, but there are a few awful teachers that balance them out."
