"Ossining High School was the best school EVER!!They have many AP(advanced placement)classes. They also have great sports teams. The students are great and friendly.I wouldn't trade this school for any other school there is , I love it.The teachers are supportive and not to strict but get there point across. If your thinking about enrolling in this school do not hesitate to try."

"Ossining High School, so far, has been a great school .Others are right that there are many AP courses and extracurriculars. However, AMD was an awful experience as an 8th grader. As for the teachers they are very wide range of adequacy(some were great;others were horrible)"

"A great school for the academically motivated. There are a plethora of courses to challenge those students who are looking to go above and beyond the basic courses. The students can either take the advantages this school offers or stay with the basic courses."

"I have one child in the Ossining Middle School AMD(Anne M Dormer Middle School) and another in the Ossining High School ..OHS....and I am VERY MUCH satisfied with the involvement ALL the teachers give at both schools....especially AMD where my son has an attention disorder..no hyperactivity just has major problems staying focus so he has to be in a special program where he gets testing in a testing room with less distractions, addl text books for home, homework online so I can keep up and help him stay on task...as he forgets what he wrote and where he put it...so that helps ME to stay on task and the teachers and I email each other every so often if he's falling behind in any assignments, talking in class, missing homework etc...as well as the high school teachers follows up with you as well. GREATTT SCHOOLS!!!!"

"Academics at OHS are fabouls! I have never seen any other high school improve so much over the years. My daughter has been in the school for 2 years now and she has never been so happy with this school, because the provid many of her favorite things, such as a fantasic volleyball and basketball team, art, and many others. I think that for this school to become 1 of the best which in my eyes it is but in other parents it is not, is they should have an all staff meeting let the staff think on what needs to be improved and over the summer improve it so when the middle schoolars come in the are amazed by the outstanding school it will be! -thank you from a very involed parent (no name)"
