"I agree with the comments of January 2007. Information on programs, schedule and curriculum to new parents is very poor. I was particularly disappointed that the most highly valued (advanced academic) programs are not even discussed. It creates a very closed and 'special treatment' environment. The principal reinforces this. Even with these programs, it is not an academically rigorous environment, it is just the opposite. I have found the curriculum lacking in both depth and breath, as compared toby experiences with other elementary schools."

"We recently moved to the area and enrolled our children at Anasazi. I have been disappointed by the lack of communication between the teachers and parents. As I new parent I feel I have been left 'in the dark.' The teachers appeared annoyed by my simple questions which I must ask because information (i.e. schedules, daily routines) have not been provided without requesting them. Perhaps the staff is stressed, but more thought needs to be placed on communication. We are now looking into other programs."

"We switched our three girls out of district to Anasazi last year. It was the best decision we ever made. My girls not only loved the school and teachers, but excelled both socially and academically. Anasazi welcomes parent involvement in the classroom. The gifted program is wonderfully challenging. The strings and band programs are top notch. Everything about Anasazi exudes a positive environment."

"Anasazi Elementary is one of the best schools in the Scottsdale Unified school district. The school provides an atmosphere that makes learning fun, at the same time the school has a pretty high standard in academics. The teachers for Gifted Education, P.E., and Arts are excellent. The Principal is very accessible, and listens well to any of your concerns. Overall, a great place to begin for any elementary student to start his journey of learning."

"This is a great school. Most parents are involved and the teachers work hard to meet each child's needs. My son is very happy here."
