"Teacher quality is inconsistent and administration seems to be uninvolved in concerns brought forth by parents. Curriculum is mediocre and not challenging enough (even at the elementary level). There are plenty of alternative schooling options available; atleast in public schools there is accountability! I wouldn't say SCA is worth the tuition by any stretch and certianly not the best education money can buy (and certainly not for an elementary education). The constant soliciting of money, in addition to the overpriced yearly tuition, makes this "Christian" environment very off-putting. For parents seeing it as an "investment" in their child's future or possibly hoping he or she will get a college scholarship because of SCA attendance, it is likely a very poor investment. For parents seeking a positive Christian environment to surround their child(ren) daily, I urge you to fill your child with your family's Christ-like morals because they will (no doubt) still be exposed to unacceptable behavior -- even at this Christian school. It is highly likely that the behaviors they see from their spoiled peers with make them question of intentions and authenticity of "Christians.""

"The elementary school curriculum and teachers are adequate. The high school curriculum does not adequately prepare students for college. There is significant teacher turnover. Fellow parents have been frustrated with the lack of communication between parents and teachers/administration. If are interested in sending your child to a Christian school, look at Paradise Valley Christian and Brophy for high school."

"We moved to the area a few years ago for our children to attend SCA. Our kids have thrived here in everyday. The school not only is strong academically, they are strong on character. They encourage you to be involved as you feel fit. SCA is a very well rounded school, great leadership and living environment."

"This is a great school with really nice and extremely qualified teachers who really care about the students. The learning environment is beautiful. The overall feel of the school is very warm and enthusiastic. We have been very pleased with our childrens experiences here."

"Ridiculous amount of emails coming throughout the year to solicit money!! I must have gotten over 50 this year from the adminsitration's MANY fund-raising efforts. Even more annoying are parents and teachers who get your email address and start sending you their own personal fund raising efforts outside of school events. Constatnly asking for money everywhere you turn!! SO glad school is over so my email inbox can rest!!"
