"Oak Grove School, and District is very special education unfriendly. Not an appropriate school if your son or daughter has a learning disability. Especially unfriendly to those with Reading and or Math disabilities."

"Oak Grove has a country setting, high caliber caring teachers and staff, plus an active community of supportive family volunteers. The environmental awareness is high - the Watershed curriculum was a life changer for my daughter and there's recycling and a garden program as well."

"Oak Grove is a great school that is committed to teaching the whole child. The kids have arts, PE, dance and music every week. Every teacher my child has had has been wonderful, they are extremely dedicated to teaching. There is also a nice community of parent involvement."

"Oak Grove Elementary has been an excellent school for my 7 year old. The teachers, while varied in their styles, are extremely dedicated and hard working. The pricipal makes it a point to be open to talking with all parents. There is a gardening program, which stresses composting, which the kids are all involved in. They use the foods they grow for salad bars, and they have an award winning recycling program. There is heavy parent involvement--each class has a room parent and many parents help weekly in the classroom. I feel so grateful to this school and its staff!"
