"I currently have 2 children enrolled, and this will be our last semester at SRRHS. The current administration runs the school like a prison, where attendance is much more important than a proper education. Beyond a small handful of teachers, too many are just putting in the hours. We are very much looking forward to a future high school experience that provides a well rounded education, and an opportunity to expand on student interests. This school offers a very limited cirriculum, and beyond the great business class, there are no essential life skills taught here."

"I currently have my third and final child enrolled at SRRHS. I know if is supposedly an "excelling" Arizona school, it is safe and all that but it is far from the top. My son is doing well because he was well prepared during the past three years at St. Joseph's Catholic School in Cottonwood. I personally believe the academics are weak and sports are definitely overemphasized. The Senior Exhibitition process seems to have improved over the years (more academic than silly topics). The students seem courteous and respectful. Comparatively speaking this is a small high school that is gradually building tradition and a history. When I worked in the counseling office more than 5 years ago I learned that a high percentage of graduates go on to attend college but I am not certain what percentage of those either graduate from college or ultimately finish. Seems like a high number drop out or take forever to earn what used to be a four year degree. I also perceive that most of the staff has liberal, politically correct leanings and that is disappointing to me. My other two SRRHS grads are still not in established careers - the oldest being 30 and still attending a community college."

"The public school system in Sedona is run by idiots. If you move here with children, send them to Sedona Charter School through 8th grade, then move out of this district. The incompetence of the teachers and administration would be entertaining if it weren't adversely affecting so many young lives."

"All of the classes are either too slow or ridiculously overwhelming. The rules are outdated and are in need for some major adjusting. On a high note, the students are more care free than the past high schools I have been to, so it's definitely a safe environment. However, I feel like this school is in need for some major adjustments."

"This school focuses mainly on the drama and art departments. We have no wood shop, automotive, or welding classes(classes that will actually benefit students in 'The real world').however, it is a very safe and small school, perfect for the hermit and gypsie children of Sedona."
