"I like my teachers a lot, because, they have helped me through hard times, and so have my counselors."

"Most teachers are effective, but a few are lacking in quality and somewhat lazy. The school board only fires (or votes "not to rehire") those teachers who speak out against them. A few have quit, but those who truly care for their students have stayed on despite the hardships."

"Like I said about the school board, our situation is not great and even lessened by the fact that we now attend school in a former grocery store. The teachers and faculty have gone to their best efforts, however (most of them, anyway), to provide the best education possible for us despite the drawbacks of this small environment. I have had a good education so far and, despite my sentimentality at the sight of the old building, know that it is no longer safe for us to remain there, and can only hope that soon, a new school will be built. Otherwise, my future children and I will seek education elsewhere."

"Seminole High School has been a very odd school for me. This is my fourth and final year here. I'm happy about it, yet it's a little weird thinking of my self about to graduate. The first three years in Seminole high school we attended our main building. My final year we now have to attend an old Nichols, because the town could never agree to build a new high school. We are not able to attend our old building due to mold and one of the walls is a free standing wall. This school is just very unorganized."
