"I would not change my experience at Sherwood High School for the world. There is so much to do at Sherwood, the opportunities are endless. Students can join clubs, teams, honors societies, and after school activities that allow them to engage with students and staff. One of the most popular things to do at Sherwood is joining a sports team. One of my favorite things to do, besides playing sports, is go to sporting events are cheer on our team. Usually there is a "theme" and the students dress up and cheer on sports teams like football and basketball. School spirit at Sherwood is unlike no other. Another popular activity for the students who have a musical gift, is Rock n Roll Revival. This event is unique because only Sherwood produces a musical that includes singers, dancers, and instrumentalists to play oldies rock that many people (young and old) can enjoy. The talent at Sherwood is unreal. The teaching staff has also had a big impact on my experience because without them, I would not have had the motivation to prepare myself for what the future holds after high school. Only downfall is the boredom and struggle with classes that students are required to take. Sometimes the expectations of students is way too much to handle and the stress can build up. But what's school without a little challenge? Overall, I have had so much fun during my four years at Sherwood whether it was learning from my teachers, playing sports, and making new friends I would not change it for the world."

"Many teachers at this school are reliable and kind. Majority of the student body of Sherwood High School respect the staff and feel comfortable when help is needed. Here and there, you may come across a teacher that are not consistent with grading practices. For example, many teachers that teach the same subject, grade in their own, personal way. Some students, myself included, find this unfair as it is easier for some students to receive a higher grade than others. Many teachers at this school are also incorporating technology into the classroom which creates a more efficient and exciting environment for students. For example, grading can be done through google classroom, drive and calendars. Also, the school recently implemented Chrome Books (mini laptops) which allow students to have their own research laptop for a class period when provided by the teacher. Overall, it is not hard to find a teacher that you respect at Sherwood High School and it is nice to know that they are doing the best they can to keep up with technological advances that can open up oppertunities for student learning."

"I believe that the teachers want the best for the students. Some teachers and counsellors go above and beyond for the students. But others lack the drive to be a helping hand. I think that as a teacher you help the student get ready for the next stop which is college. And I think that if we come together and help the students get involved in activistes they can be more successful after highschool."

"I think that the school has a great academic success. I feel that it lacks culture and including everyone from each race and background. The school could have a chance to have more culture if they embrace everyone."

"School is stressful but the environment and teacher help allows students to feel better about their education and future."
