"My biggest concern with Oak Ridge there seems to be a lack of concern by the guidance employees. They do not return calls and are at times aloaf to the students and parents. The school is not bad, it has a good student to teacher ratio, just more attention by guidance is needed."

"This school is getting better every year. There is a lot of diversity and adversity in this school. I am proud of their accomplishments and I don't believe that the student's futures are bleak at all. If the people who critique the school were actually in the classroom they would see the development and progress. The parents and students come from different countries so of course, the learning and curriculum will have to be different to accommodate the students. This school talks to its students and adjust to their needs. Where do you find teachers that care anymore? At Oak Ridge. em"

"This may not be the fanciest school on earth but there is this special pride you feel everyday. Its something extraordinary. Ive been to many schools and Oak Ridge has the best atmosphere. I mean sure parents need to put some more effort on encouring and supporting students. But we've come a long way. Academically we have improved and in FCAT as well. And we have alot of talented athletes in the school."

"Teachers desperately want to teach students here. There are many who have dedicated themselves to students who need that extra push to excel. Students are challenged in many ways. There are new things happening which will bring a wider variety of students. Technology is now being offered which will take this school into the 21st century with career paths which are not only appealing but in high demand in the world of gaming, web design and other areas of computers. People need to realize until they get involved and help mentor some of the students, or support the school by attending meetings crucial to decision making, that things will remain as they always were. We need parents to step up and take the initiative to show how much they care and want to be involved in their student's lives. Young people need guidance and attention now more than ever."
