"With living 45 minutes away from my school I was not able to participate in many school events unless my mother had agreed she would stay to help supervise the event. Although the games I did participate I observed a lot of school spirit. Spirit weeks were by far my favorite to participate in, just recently I won the spirit award for school color day."

"I moved to Smithton R-VI from Otterville R-VI and in comparison Smithton's faculty and staff are a lot more knowledgeable with their subjects and communicate more with the students. Teachers are always available after class sometimes up to three hours. The teachers here are very dedicated to their students. It is common to see an administrator come into the classroom at least once a day for evaluations on to how the students are doing and how well the teachers are interacting with the class. The administration here genuinely cares their students are getting the best educational experience they can solely provide."

"The School is Horrible. I have been bullied ever since i have come to this school and Nothing has ever happened. The students AND teachers are equally horrible if you did not grow up there."

"I love my teachers. They often work one-on-one with me on many of my assignments, and love to answer my questions. Grades are always in at a reasonable time. My teachers are always knowledgeable, and even when I ask a question that they don't know, they look up my answer immediately."

"There really aren't many cliques. There is a some distinctions between people but they are not solid. You will find students floating from group to group and noone judges. Many of the students have friends in different grades, different ethnicities, and don't specifically stick to a clique. There are smart students throughout the entire school. It isn't just defined to a group."
