"This school is absolutely horrible. I am a student at the school and I can honestly say that the teachers don't care anything about the students. The ONLY thing that I like about this school is that the athletic program is very good and keeps the students out of trouble. This school needs to care Kore about the students. The teachers are horrible and don't even care enough to make sure you know what is going on in class."

"Having been in the Brookwood district for 10+ years, I can honestly say that it thoroughly deserves a 5-star rating. Many complain about the occasional poor teacher but there are bound to be suckers in even the best group. The community whole-heartedly supports the schools in the cluster, all of which are fantastic. Brookwood's AP program is fantastic and the College Prep students are never left behind unless they make very concerted effort to be (and those instances are exceptionally rare). The diversity among races in the student body is excellent and despite what others posting reviews may have said, racism definitely not a part of who we are. Sure, the dress code could probably be loosened up a bit, lunch might taste better, and the 3,300+ student body probably needs to revisited (especially with the threat of apartments in the district) but on the whole, the Brookwood cluster is fantastic, and Brookwood High is THE place to be."

"Brookwood is a very good school. The teachers there care about you and challenge you to a reasonable extent. Many of them are approachable outside of class. In fact, many teachers graduated from Brookwood themselves or they've been teaching there for a long time. The school has a strong work ethic. Outside of class, there are plenty of activities and clubs to get involved with. The only problem is the school's AP program. It's true that Brookwood has one of the highest passing rates on the AP Exam in the nation. However, anybody, including CP students, can easily get into an AP class even though a teacher recommendation is required. It may not seem that way at first because the school is very strict in determining who can take AP Human Geography for the ninth grade. Also, all honors and gifted math students have to take an AP math class in the 12th grade even if they don't want to. As a result, a lot of people struggle in AP classes."

"Most students that attend Brookwood concur that the only thing Administration cares about is test scores. Many students are frustrated with this and do not feel like they are getting their full education they should be getting. Along with that, the Brookwood Administration is very strict on the dress code and late policy. I think most people would agree that the dress code should be changed and be more lenient. Outfits that do not even pose to be a distraction could fall into dress code violation. It seems very unfair, especially to girls. Now for the late policy. It is understandable that being more than a minute or two can be disruptive to the class and/or teacher, but 10 seconds late and you get penalized? I thought high school was suppose to prepare you for college, and as I understand it college does not care about students being late. It is ridiculous to the amount of effort the school puts towards enforcing the dress code and late policy. They could using that time to improve the way they run things here. Overall, I am not satisfied, along with many others at this school. I would try to complain directly to the school administration, but I know they would never listen."

"Need to put more into their basketball program.. It is really going down...Alot of talent has transferred to other schools because they are not putting anything into their basketball program....Also can use a NEW coaching staff. Coaches that have knowledge of the game and how to pick the best athletes."
