"All high schools have "the popular kids" but at Basalt the teachers and administration perpetuate this, going on to ignore offenses and dishonesty from select students. This creates an almost Toxic environment."

"While there are a few good eggs, many of the teachers lack the ability to engage students and also are not very qualified."

"Everyone is involved in school activities and grades of different levels are mixed instead of divided. Student council would corollary to make great events involving school spirit and team work."

"I applied myself in high school, so I got as much as I could out of that education and was pretty prepared for college. Basalt wasn't writing intensive, so that was the one area that I struggled with in college. Other than that, what I put in, I got out."

"Most of the teachers are really good! The newer ones don't really know what they're doing, but the teachers that have been there for years are good quality teachers."
