"Teachers at his school come in, do their job, and go home. Unlike in other schools where you can truly see and feel when teachers are devoted to their job."

"The only reason I decided to come back to district and finish my last year of high school was because I finished my culinary program early at the vocational institution and because this districts education level isn't as advanced it allows me to work full time hours to afford college."

"Manville High School overall is a good high school. Since Manville is a small community, everyone in the high school knows one another, and this creates a close and tight-knit school. Since everyone has known each other since kindergarten, there aren't many distinct cliques. While people do split into their own friend groups, separate groups are always kind to each other. Even though we are a very small school, lots of people get involved in activities. It's really nice to feel like you're a part of something and MHS does a good job at creating that feeling. One of the downsides to Manville High School is the reputation. In the past, we haven't done very well on standardized assessments, which leads to other towns believing that we're dumb. This causes people to say that Manville doesn't hire competent teachers, which I personally do not agree with. Also, most of our sports teams don't do very well, except for the cross country and wrestling teams. Additionally, many people are turned off by the size of our school, and say that we shouldn't even have our own high school, which is demeaning. Overall, I think that Manville High School is a pretty good school to go to. Most of the negatives come from people who have never had the chance to experience it. Being a Manville Mustang has given me many good memories and I would not choose to go anywhere else."
